BANCROFT PARK

Public BBQ

Bancroft Park sits by the creek and offers a relaxed spot for families and dog owners. The park features a small playground, a dedicated dog park, and a cricket pitch on generally well-maintained grass. A standout feature is the miniature bike track with a toy petrol station and cafe, perfect for toddlers learning to ride. The park includes a couple of picnic areas with clean tables, a BBQ, and plenty of shade. It's a peaceful location for lunch by the water, with flat walking paths heading east to Newmarket or west to Red Hill that are wheelchair accessible. Bass fishing is popular along the creek. The park lacks toilet facilities, which is a notable downside. While not exceptional, it's a practical local spot for a picnic or letting kids and dogs burn off energy.
